Chaney Gets 'O'oAward

Ka Wai Ola O OHA congratulates Aaron M. Chaney, recipient of the coveted 'O'o Award, presented annually to the outstanding Hawaiian businessman of the year by the Hawaiian Business/Professional Association (HBPA). Chaney is managing director of Chaney Brooks & Company, a diversified real estate firm. The company is described by "Buildings" magazine as the 10th largest apartment management firm in the nation.

Chaney received his 'O'o Award last month at HBPA's award banquet at Waialae Country Club. The award takes its name from the traditional Hawaiian digging stick whieh represents courage, industry and achievement. The 'O'o is a symbol of recognition for the Hawaiian businessman of the year, whose skillful use of this own talent results in success in business and industry.
