— A house belonging to a Hawai- > ian, and situated ia Priuter’s! Laue, last night was burned to j the ground. The fire departmeot ; evidently was dead to the world —or at least to the fire, aud the j property was deslroyed. A close investigation failed to show the i possible origiu of the fire. We hate to believe that the heated editoria)s of Susb, and his tempoiariiy poliiieal affiliations were the caose of the combustion. Some wonld-be marshai ougbt to ferrot out the matter.
